Circles on Quilts
Level 2 - Ruler Class

 

WEDNESDAY     NOVEMBER 20

Must have a machine ruler foot and supporting sewing table

 

Learn to  quilt whole quilts on your

home sewing machine using Sew Steady's Circles On Quilts rulers. 

 

This is a continuation of the

introductory ruler classes - it is not a beginner class.

 

You will learn to  quilt whole circles, as well as make the Baptist Fan quilt design.  Participants should bring practice sandwiches and may also bring a small quilt that is sandwiched, pinned and ready to quilt. 

These are popular rulers as they are easy to use and can do so many

designs. 
Come by the shop on November 15 (morning) to see a demonstration!


Sign up by November 10 (that's the deadline) so we can make sure to have enough ruler sets for all participants.

Beginner, Learn to Quilt with Rulers

This class will introduce the 12 inch arch and it's many uses.

You must have a RULER foot for your machine and the 12" arc ruler.

Quilts for Okracoke

    Project

WEDNESDAY     DECEMBER 11

10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

  Join us as we sew away a storm
  and create these Okracoke
  Cracker blocks to be donated to    the Quilts for Ocracoke Project.

 As many are aware, Ocracoke   was devastated by hurricane     Dorian. 
 Lori Millsap will, the originator     of this project will join
 us to lead the brigade.

  The blocks are made with 2 inch 
  strips.  Each block has a center
 
red and blue strip sewn 
  together.  Other colors added        are of your choosing.
  

  So gather up your 2 inch strip
  scraps and join as we create
  comfort for the approximately      1,500 people of Okracoke who        are now homeless and quiltless.
